I have not wanted to in the Economics course I have, But they offered me a foundation year. I don't know if it's Worth It or goes directly into an education elsewhere and the start of work?

If you are really in the economy, scientific study, The Foundation year would be a good way to build your skills and knowledge to make a real success in their studies a year later.

It also means you get to Uni to study habits, to know your professors and get to grips with the expectations of the study.

However, this is an additional year of study and The Work of the option, if you want to get a job. would mean they would earn money, a salary immediately.

If you are lucky enough to have a training in the area you are interested in, you could have your feet on the career ladder, while also keeping the potential open to a higher-level teaching with universities.

I think ultimately your decision should depend on whether you are the most excited by the idea of studying or working in this Phase in your Life and the labour market, of course!

to check that It's definitely worth checking out, what are the chances of you continuing the same University for their Bachelor's degree after The Foundation year. Do you have to ask, how many foundation year students are gone, it. Is it seen positively?

A foundation year is a worthwhile option if you are somewhat on the fence about studying that particular subject. You may find after a year that you want to Do Something (a little or completely different.

If you are really interested in, you are on crack to see that the student in Economics, what is Economics courses, the to match with your marks obtained.

A is an excellent alternative to the traditional studies, the combination of lectures with employment in a specific company/organisation. Plus, your tuition fees will be paid by your employer, and you earn a small salary, plus Practical Experience .

But , you have to look around to see what degree of training options. Also remember that, unlike University applications, teaching applications open and close at different times of the year.

My Daughter had an offer from Nottingham to biology. She has a C in this and Nottingham have to say the revised offer, you Can participate in the course.

you really want to the biology, it now has a relatively low degree. It is possible to see what the other courses are available to offer prior to the acceptance or rejection of the Nottingham?

If your daughter has definitely changed their opinion about the study of biology, then you Can reject the offer you is in the possession of Nottingham, and perhaps also your insurance quote and go into The Clearing in The Hope that a course of want you have.

The Risk with that you Can 't find something that really motivates you and you Can then stop taking consider to re-or pursue other options.

your Starting Point is to reflect, what is it, really impressed by her and what she thinks she would like to study for the next three years.

Eddie

It is great the University has revised the admission requirements and offered their daughter a place, But it is also how your results have knocked sounds of your trust. You should certainly browse through the universities and Colleges Admissions Service (Ucas) for courses is still available, before declining to their current offer.

Can you number to call, other universities with vacancies, But they Can ask you for your clearing. Your daughter, your sink will need to get this.

Is the biology, a subject she enjoys and would be to spend thrilled, studied three years? If so, you could check the acceptance of the offer - But if not, it is certainly sensible to weight up the other options (of which there are many).

it Has to do relatively well in your other subjects? If so, circuit classes in Nottingham (where they already have an offer for a joint Honours Degree with another subject could be an option.

to keep track of But maybe your daughter has confirmed the Grade, a nagging feeling that the biology is not something that you want.

If you really want to go to University this year, which you Can use to see what is in other subjects, they could potentially study, based on your A level subjects.

It could be worth your to take some time and reconsider what you really want to. Taking a Gap Year to do some work experience or travel Can be viewed positively by the universities, and with "known types", it could also be your daughter in a strong position for next September.

I have secured a place at my second choice uni, But am very disappointed with my A-level English result. I predicted, my other varieties, exactly, But was expecting an a or a high B, based on my past work and the feeling of how the tests went, But a C, and only 17 [off ] got a 40 on my strongest paper. I'm trying to think, to ask re-Mark. I would like to understand what is wrong, instead of going for a higher class, But is it Worth It ?

You're smart, you query the mark, especially if it was significantly lower than expected - this may help you in your future career. Speak with your teacher or head of year in school, your thoughts, because you know that you are the best from an academic point of view.

But if you are happy, go with your second choice of University, I would not worry too much about the query immediately. Other students, the responsive notes, because you will appreciate a uni place on The Line it probably.

"check out".

Helena

Hello Chiara,

you Can apply to the examination Board to evaluate the results, either a review of the marking or of a Church in The Exam , But you should discuss this with your University or school first, in order to ensure that you with their view that the result is unexpected.

you Can also be able to find out more information about marks where you have lost in your paper. Note that with a review of the marking, your Grades go down as well as up and there is a charge, although this is refunded to you is, if there is a grade change.

In the meantime, if you are planning to progress to Higher Education , you need to be on the basis of the notes that you actually forgive. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Shelley

Hi, Shelley Here - in a very tense household in which [my] son just got his results:* in mathematics, A in philosophy, B in further mathematics.

He has seemingly lost his bid in Durham, require three. My question is: is there any possibility of Durham to take him with these notes?

It is quite possible that Durham could still offer him a place because he is very close with One drawer above And One below the offer. You may need a little time to see where you are with your numbers.

If you say categorically: "no", then he should be guaranteed a place in his insurance of the University, provided that he complies with your classes - keeping my Fingers crossed that he he wants to The Place the most.

Eddie

your son is to do The Right thing, by seeing his First Choice to whether you honor Can still see the offer. Hopefully you Can - But if you Can 't do it, there are still many options open to him.

He has the possibility of his insurance choice, or ask your school about the possibility of retaking further maths A-level and re-applying again next year.

I understand, that must be disappointing, But the A*are still fantastic qualities, so I have No Doubt he is on a track that he loves.

Helena

I got an offer of ABB for sociology in Birmingham, But declined it and opted for my company and the insurance elsewhere.

Well done on your results. I'm sorry to hear that the Uni you want to go, Can 't offer you a place.

you Have to be your firm or insurance choice offered you a place? If you have to go you want there, you need to be released, enter offset.
