Hōjō Genan Life story
Hōjō Genan was a Japanese Samurai of the Sengoku period. He was third son of Hōjō Sōun. Genan was highly educated samurai thus he worked as a diplomat of the Later Hōjō clan. His son Hōjō Ujinobu was attacked by the Takeda clan`s large army and forced to kill himself during the Siege of Kanbara in 1569.
