Herbert Kline Life story
Herbert Kline was a former editor of the magazine "New Theatre" and in the 1930s become involved with the New York Film and Photo League, where he was trained as a documentary director. He was one of the first Americans to arrive in Spain in the 1930s during that country's civil war, and filmed the documentary.
