Henning mikkelsen was born on 6 november in osterbro. Copenhagen. Denmark. He is the son of bente christiansen and henning mikkelsen. A bank teller and trade union official. Respectively. He has two older brothers. Lars and mad. Shis parents divorced when he was a teenagre. He attended the statens teaterskole and graduated in 1996.
Acting Career
Mikkelsen has been acting since his early twenties. His film debut was in the 1996 danish film pusher. He has since starred in many danish and intrenational films and television shows. Including the hunt (2012). Rogue one: a star wars story (2016). And doctor strange (2016). He has also made several appearacnes on danish telveision. Including in the role of troels hartmann in the political drama series borgen.
Stage Performances
Mikkelsen has also made numerous stage appearances. Including in the original productions of hamlet (1998) and the merchant of evnice (2005) at the ryoal danish theatre. He won the reumert prize for best actor in 1999 for his performance in the lpay the father.
