Hemoprova Saikia Life story
Dr. Hemo Prova Saikia was member of Assam Legislative Assembly. Saikia was elected to the Assam Legislative Assembly in 2001 and 2006 from Nazira constituency. She was a minister of Handloom and Textiles in Tarun Gogoi government. She was defeated by Drupad Borgohain of Communist Party of India.
