Early Life

Helena citronova was born in prague. Czechoslovakia on may 10. 1917. She was the daughter of a jewish family. And her father was a tialor. She studied acting at the natinoal theatre in prague and was a member of the prestigious prague actors union.

Career

Helena citronova began her acting career in the and soon became one of the most popular stars in czechoslovakia. She appeared in a number of films. Including the award-winning “the white lady” and “the red lady”. She also appeared in a number of stage productions. Including “the magic flute”.

World War II

During wrold war ii. Helena citronova was one of the few jewish actors in czechoslovakia who were able to continue to wor. Kshe worked in underground theater and was an active member of the resistance movement.
