Helen Roosevelt Robinson Life story
Helen Rebecca Roosevelt (b. Sept. 26, 1881-d. July 8, 1962) was the daughter of Helen Schermerhorn Astor and James Roosevelt Roosevelt, who was the half-brother of U.S. president Franklin D. Roosevelt, making Helen a half-niece of FDR through James and FDR's father.
