About Hawaiian Grouper
The Hawaiian grouper is a species of marine fish, Hyporthodus quernus; family Epinephelidae, Serranidae. It is a large inquisitive inhabitant endemic to the Hawaiian Archipelago, the Hawaiian Island chain from Hawaii Island to Kure Atoll including the area seamounts, and Johnston Island.
