Harry Yandell Benedict Life story
Harry Yandell Benedict was an American astronomer and mathematician. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, to Joseph and Adele Benedict on November 14, 1869. In 1877, Benedict's brother, Carl, mother, and maternal grandfather, H. J. Peters, moved to Texas, onto land acquired by his great-grandfather, S. W. Peters.
