About Happy Walter Higgenbottom
Happy Walter Higgenbottom is Bessie's pet dog and best friend. Bessie adopts him in the show's first episode ("So Happy Together"), having found him at a nearby wharf. Although Happy was not a fan of being a member of the Higgenbottoms at first, he grew to love his new family.
