Businessman Harry Pulham (Robert Young) is frustrated that his long marriage with Kay (Ruth Hussey) has grown tedious. While organizing a college reunion, Pulham reminisces about his past love for the unconventional Marvin Miles (Hedy Lamarr). Their relationship ended because of their differing views on life, but Pulham finds that he is still attracted to Marvin when they meet once again.
