About Gymnostachys
Gymnostachys is a monotypic genus, of the monocotyledon plant family Araceae. The sole known species Gymnostachys anceps, commonly named settler's twine or boorgay, grows naturally in rainforests and humid Eucalypt forests of eastern New South Wales and eastern Queensland, Australia.
