About Gupworthy Railway Station
Gupworthy was originally intended as an intermediate station on the West Somerset Mineral Railway, but neither the proposed extension to Heath Poult nor that to Joyce's Cleeve was built, leaving Gupworthy as the line's southwestern terminus.
