About Guarulhos
Guarulhos is a city near São Paulo, in southeastern Brazil. The Bosque Maia is an urban park with trails, an artificial lake and sports facilities. Guarulhos City Zoo protects animals native to Brazil like jaguars, pumas, tapirs and hyacinth macaws. To the northwest, Cantareira State Park preserves a tract of tropical Atlantic forest, home to waterfalls, hiking trails and a large colony of howler monkeys.
