About Groet
Groet is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Bergen, and lies about 11 km northwest of Alkmaar. Groet was a separate municipality between 1817 and 1834, when it was merged with Schoorl. In 2001, the village of Groet had 1486 inhabitants.
