Grigore Alexandrescu Life story
Grigore Alexandrescu was a nineteenth-century Romanian poet and translator noted for his fables with political undertones. He founded a periodical, Albina Româneascǎ. Alexandrescu wrote Poezii and Meditaţii, many of which were fables and satires influenced by French literature.
