The Greatest Generation, also known as the G. I. Generation and the World War II generation, is the demographic cohort following the Lost Generation and preceding the Silent Generation.

The ‘Class of 92' have been described as ‘the Greatest Generation ' in the history of English football. Now their university, UA92, aims to help students develop their "character, personality and resilience", just as The Veteran footballers learned from their former coach, Sir Alex Ferguson .
Manchester United legends Gary and Phil Neville have developed new degree courses in conjunction with Lancaster University . The university is taking students from September and offers courses in a range of subjects, from accounting to media and communications.
