Gonzalo Mayo Life story
(26 January 1940 - 30 March 2021, Peru) Gonzalo Mayo was born in Piuira, Peru. He illustrated Ciro Alegría's comics adaptation of 'El Mundo es Ancho y Ajeno' in the weekly supplement Estampa de Expresso from 1963 to 1965. He made stories based on Peruvian literature, as well as the humour page 'Los Años Dorados'.
