Gilles Van Kote Life story
Aged 52, Gilles van Kote, is the deputy chief editor of Le Monde, the most influential French daily newspaper. He was a sports writer for almost twenty years (he covered, among other things, the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics), before becoming an environmental journalist in 2006.
