Gilles Brown Life story
Montreal-born singer, lyricist and music publisher Gilles Brown -- a hot commodity in the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties, as a performer and penning songs for some of Quebec's big names of those eras -- died after battling cancer, on his 73rd birthday on February 6. Brown began his career as a radio announcer.
