Gilberte Thirion Life story
Gilberte Thirion raced between 1951 and 1957. She drove Porsche, Gordini, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Renault in rallies and sportscar races. She is one of the few women to win a World Rally Championship event, taking the Tour of Corsica in 1956. Gilberte Thirion was born in Brussels, Belgium.
