About Gérardmer
Gérardmer is a town in northeastern France, near the German border. It's known as a ski resort, with a high-speed chairlift, tree-lined slopes and a slalom course. Neighboring Lac de Gérardmer has trails around its wooded shore and a beach. An uphill trail leads to the Observatoire de Merelle, with its sweeping views of the lake and town. South, Col de Grosse Pierre is a mountain pass and popular cycling route.
