Gerard Noel Life story
Admiral of the Fleet Sir Gerard Henry Uctred Noel, GCB, KCMG was a Royal Navy officer. As a junior officer he commanded a naval brigade which took part in the capture of Kumasi in February 1874 during the Second Anglo-Ashanti War.
