George Stevens Life story
George Cooper Stevens was an American film director, producer, screenwriter and cinematographer. He received two Academy Awards and the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award in 1953. He is often referred to as of the great American filmmakers alongside John Ford, William Wyler and Howard Hawks.
