George Sisler Life story
George Harold Sisler, nicknamed "Gorgeous George", was an American professional baseball first baseman and player-manager. From 1915 through 1930, he played in Major League Baseball for the St. Louis Browns, Washington Senators, and Boston Braves. He managed the Browns from 1924 through 1926.
