George S. Zimbel Life story
George S. Zimbel was an American-Canadian documentary photographer. He worked professionally from the late 1940s, mainly as a freelancer. He was part of the Photo League and was one of its last surviving members. Born in Massachusetts, he settled in Canada about 1971.
