George Pitt, 2nd Baron Rivers Life story
George Pitt, 2nd Baron Rivers was a French-born English politician, military officer and peer who sat in the British House of Commons from 1774 to 1790. Born in Angers, France, he was the only son of George Pitt, 1st Baron Rivers and his wife Penelope, daughter of Sir Henry Atkins, 4th Baronet of Clapham, Surrey.
