Georg Schönberger Life story
Georg Schönberger (21 December 1911 — 20 November 1943) was an Obersturmbannführer (Lieutenant Colonel) in the Waffen-SS who was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. During Operation Marita Schönberger was in command of the Sturmgeschütz (Assault gun) Battalion LSSAH.
