Geoffrey Hornby Life story
Admiral of the Fleet Sir Geoffrey Thomas Phipps Hornby GCB was a Royal Navy officer. As a junior officer, he saw action at the capture of Acre in November 1840 during the Egyptian–Ottoman War.
