Geoffrey Bache Smith Life story
Geoffrey Bache Smith (October 18, 1894 - December 3, 1916) was a close friend of J.R.R. Tolkien and a member of the T.C.B.S.. He attended King Edward's School in Birmingham, as did Tolkien, Christopher Wiseman and the other members of the society, where he first became indulged in poetry.
