Geo Dumitrescu Life story
Geo Dumitrescu was a Romanian poet and translator. Born in Bucharest, his parents were Vasile Oprea, a craftsman and owner of a small shoe store and workshop, and his wife Aurelia. From 1930 to 1939, he attended Great Voivode Mihai High School in his native city.
