Galaktion Alpaidze Life story
Galaktion Yeliseyevich Alpaidze was a Soviet Lieutenant General of Georgian ethnicity who was the Hero of the Soviet Union. He was the manager of the Plesetsk rocket proving ground in 1963–1975, and 1977 laureate of the USSR State Prize.
