G. M. Young Life story
George Malcolm Young CB was an English historian, best known for his book on Victorian times in Britain, Portrait of an Age. After a short time as an academic and a career as a civil servant lasting for more than twenty years, Young pursued a literary career from the mid-1920s onwards.
