G. Baumgartner Life story
Dr Gerhard Baumgartner was born in Oberwart (Burgenland/Austria) in 1957. Since May 2014 he has been head of research at the Documentation Centre of Austrian Resistance. His research focuses on the following areas: Resistance and persecution 1938 – 1945. History of the persecution of Roma and Sinti.
