Fuzzy Owen Life story
Born: April 30, 1929 in Conway, Arizona, died May 11, 2020 in Bakersfield, California. A pivitol figure in the development of the Bakersfield sound, Charles "Fuzzy" Owen was co-owner of the small but influential Tally label and the first to record and advance the career of Merle Haggard.
