About Frigate Ecojet
The Frigate Ecojet is a program for the development of a new wide-body medium-haul civil aircraft using new aerodynamic, and design configurations. The project started in 1991 as the Tu-304 under the leadership of Valentin Klimov, being initially projected to carry up to 500 passengers.
