Frans-Jos Verdoodt Life story
Verdoodt was de inititiatiefnemer van het "historisch pardon" waarmee op de IJzerbedevaart van 27 augustus 2000 uitdrukkelijk afstand werd genomen van het verleden van collaboratie tijdens Wereldoorlog II. In 2008 ontving hij de Orde van de Vlaamse Leeuw.
