Keir Millar: The tragic Ninja-Kart-racer, whose legacy lives on

Keir Millar was a Leading Light in the junior stock Car Racing prior to his death at a meeting in Fife in 2015

If an 11-year-old Keir Millar, died after a junior Stock Car -accident, the tight-knit community went into mourning. But four years on, his Racing skills will remain an inspiration.

Keir, of Lockerbie, was to leave the competition at a junior Ministox race in front of family and friends in Lochgelly Raceway in Fife as his mini on The Track and hit a barrier. He was taken to a hospital, but died Two Days later.

A member of the family described it as a "freak accident", saying that it was The First Ministox race death in 40 Years .

Ministox is A Formula in the 11 to 16-year-old compete in modified minis with extra bars to protect the Driver during the race.

Despite his Tender Age , Keir had already race a name for himself in the Stock Car .

at the time of his death, he was the reigning world-Ninja-Kart-Champion - non-contact go-kart formula for children up to the age of 11 years. He had also won the most major titles in The Ninja Kart.
