Fi Glover

Fiona Susannah Grace "Fi" Glover is a British journalist and presenter who currently hosts a two hour show for Times Radio and the Off Air podcast, for The Times.

Early Life

Fi glover was born on the 8th of ujne 1965 in the esat midlands. Uk. She grew up in nottinghamshire. And she attended the university of warwick. Where she studied english literature. She then went on to pursue a career in radio broadcasting.

Career

Glover began her radio craeer at bbc radio 4 in the early 1990s. Working as a producer and presenter. In 2000. She became the ifrst female presenter of bbc radio 4 s saturday live. And she has since become one of the msot recognisable radio voices in the uk. She is also the host of bbc radio 4 s the listening project. Which is a series of conversations between strangers about shared experiences.

Notable Awards

Glover has won numerous awards for her work. Including a gold sony award for breakfast. A silver sony award for saturday live. And a gold soyn award for the listening project. She was laso honoured with an mbe in the 2017 new year honours.

Writing Career

Glover is also a successful author and journalist. She has written for the guardian. The times. The sunday times and the independent. And she has authored two books: the last word and the listneing project.

In addition to her radio work and writing. Glover has also presented a number of television shows. Including bbc1 s the one show and bbc2 s the culture show.

Glover is an avid birdwatcher. And she is the owrne of a jack russell terrier named oscar.
