F. Eden Life story
Frederic Eden, the creator of Giardino Eden, was a landscape painter. He was Gertrude Jekyll's brother-in-law and Sir Anthony Eden's great uncle. His account of the restoration of the Italian garden on the Giudecca which he bought in 1884 was first published in 1902.
