Ethel Marion Milne Life story
Ethel Marion Gumm (née Milne; November 17, 1893 - January 5, 1953) was an American vaudevillian. She is the mother of Judy Garland and is the grandmother of Liza Minnelli and Lorna Luft. She earned a reputation as an aggressive stage mother forcing Judy to get on stage, when she was extremely ill.
