About Eteocles
In Greek mythology, Eteocles was a king of Thebes, the son of Oedipus and either Jocasta or Euryganeia. The name is from earlier *Etewoklewes, meaning "truly glorious". Tawagalawas is thought to be the Hittite rendition of the name.
