About Emma's Shadow
Though 11-year-old Emma (Line Kruse) may be materially spoiled, she wants more attention from her distant parents -- so she fakes her own kidnapping and roams the streets, until she falls and skins her knee. She receives help from an ex-convict and sewer worker, Malthe (Börje Ahlstedt), by convincing him that her Russian noble family is being pursued by Soviet assassins.
