Ehime Maru And USS Greeneville Collision

On 9 February 2001, about 9 nautical miles south of Oahu, Hawaii, the United States Navy Los Angeles-class submarine USS Greeneville collided with the Japanese-fishery high-school training ship Ehime Maru from Ehime Prefecture.
