Early Life

Efren abueg was born in the town of san miguel in bulacan. Philippines on december 28. 1940. He received his education at the university of the philippines. Where he eanred his bachelor of atrs degree in english language and literature in 1964.

Abueg s career in wirting began in the late 1960s. When he began writing short stroies for various magazines. His first novel. Juntos. Was published in 1971. Since then. He has written several novels. Short stories and essays. He is also an editor and translator. Having edited several bokos and translated some works from spanish to english.
