Edward Rutledge Hawn, a musician, died Monday in Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. He was 73 years old. Mr. Hawn, a descendant of Edward Rutledge of South Carolina, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, played the saxophone, clarinet and violin.
