Kogia is a genus of toothed whales within the superfamily Physeteroidea comprising two extant and one extinct species. Fossils date to the Miocene. Pygmy sperm whale, Kogia breviceps Dwarf sperm whale, Kogia sima Kogia pusilla, extinct
