Chloe Haines arrested, try to open Stansted, plane door mid-flight

A woman who tried to open an airliner door during the flight, prompting two fighter jets are encrypted, was imprisoned for two years.

Haines Chloe, 26, from High Wycombe , scratched a member of The Crew , as they rushed the door, yelled: "I'll have you all heard of kill," the court said.

Haines, who gave two counts, was sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court .

The Incident occurred on a Jet2 flight with 206 people on Board in the direction of Dalaman in Turkey on the 22. June.

Haines said that you, "remind me to pass out and had to really remember what happened" after mixing alcohol with drugs, Prosecutor Michael Crimp told the court.

Cabin Crew member Charley Coombe scratches suffered when you tried that Haines from the opening of the aircraft door.

A passenger later told police he "feared really, you would open the door", the court heard.

Mr Crimp said she screamed "I want to die" and "I'll kill you all", in order to restrain The Crew and the passengers try.

Haines' lawyer, Oliver Saxby QC described it as a "troubled young people with A Number of serious problems".

Mr Saxby said she had been diagnosed with sick mentally and not more alcohol had touched since the 22 of June.

"she was not only drunk, she was sick," he said, adding that she felt "horrified".

judge Charles Burr-Wicke said: "Those who are trapped in the confined space of the aircraft, is inevitably disturbed, frightened and petrified by the actions of those who threaten in a drunken state of her life.

"For some it will be their worst nightmare come true. "

Jet2 tolerated calculated'that The Incident cost them £86,000, the court was told.

Steve Heapy, CEO of the airline, welcomed the ruling and said it was "one of The Most serious incidents of disruptive passenger behavior that we have experienced".

He said Haines was now banned For Life from the airline.

Mr Heapy said she had caused "hardship for the customer and our team," and added: "we just do not tolerate on our flights".

He also said that they drink themselves to continue on the theme of "to excess, in The Airport before the flight, as well as the illegal use of duty-free alcohol on Board the aircraft".
