Doug Houda Life story
Douglas Harold Houda is a Canadian former National Hockey League defenceman and current assistant coach of the New York Islanders. He was a former assistant coach for the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL. He was drafted in the second round, 28th overall, by the Red Wings in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.
