Dorothy Wingfield Life story
Biography. Dorothy Wingfield, daughter of Robert Wingfield and Elizabeth Cecil, married Adam Claypoole at St. George's, Stamford, Lincolnshire 30 September 1586. Dorothy's marriage to Adam Claypoole brought the Claypoole family connections at court. Dorothy and Adam Claypoole had eight sons and three daughters.
